Ulver's debut album really impresses me with a diversity I would not have expected, knowing only - call me clveless - that they mixed Folk and BM elements in their early career.

Bergtatt obviously is a standout performance which I enjoy every time I listen to it. The genre blend is done splendidly, and the album should be listened to as a whole. The finale is grand, and the storytelling immersive. I'll continue my dive into Ulver's work soon. Favorite track: Bergtatt - Ind I Fjeldkamrene. It is quite difficult to choose the best song.
