I type in my password, it accepts it. I know its not a virus, I scanned hard drive for virus on another computer. I run a business with that computer so formatting it is not an option. Any idea why? My account is the admin acct. Then take it from there. I don't know if you have the same problem or not. Expand the Logon tree and choose Autologon then check "Log on automatically at system startup" and fill in your user name and leave the password blank. The command prompt is still a powerful Windows tool.
